My little son loves this place wild salmon is always fresh and today I tried grilled oysters and it was one of the best I ever ate! The sauce was so good
Hoshi is an amazing restaurant, the food was delicious, the sashimi tasted really fresh and was prepared with care, also visually stunning! The tempura was not overly greasy and tasted great, the desserts were also tasty! The rolls were also delicious, a lot of different choices to choose from! Would recommend this restaurant to friends and family! On top of the food, the restaurant is in a great location with views of the water and boats from the patio and inside. The owners are incredibly nice, friendly and caring and the servers are attentive and hospitable. The area itself is beautiful for a walk around after dinner as well, there is free visitor parking in a underground once you receive a pass from the restaurant. Will come back again for sure!

This place is like a hidden gem. Their food is very fresh and delicious. I'm one of a sushi lovers and ate raw oysters and sashimi-grade fried oysters. I highly recommend creamy-textured oysters as a must-eat food. To be honest, I haven't eaten as fresh as these oysters in years. Other foods will also show that their chefs are very meticulous in managing ingredients. Another attractive point is that you can enjoy a comfortable and fantastic ocean view of the restaurant. I'm definitely planning to revisit it with my friends next time.
The location is lovely, near the sea wall. The service was attentive. The waitress checked on us often to ensure we’re enjoying our dinner. We ordered the omakase gozen and the salmon blossom roll. These dishes were delicious. The fish melted in our mouth. We had a wonderful experience dining at Hoshi restaurant.
After taking Buddy for a swim, we stopped by Hoshi Japanese Cuisine for lunch. The food was amazing, and the waterfront view overlooking Granview Island Market was stunning. The best part? They welcomed Buddy on the patio and even served him a water bowl. To top it off, they gave him an extra sashimi treat!
